ameme receives funding to develop an AI health coach and digital twin
Project "Promoting the Development of Innovative Products or Innovative Product Prototypes by Start-ups" No. 02-113-J-0001-J08-00001 Brief description: As part of this project, UAB Ameme is developing Nextu — an AI-driven digital health twin platform. The platform integrates wearable and biological data to generate personalised health recommendations and visualises the user's health status through an interactive AI-powered digital twin. Project goal: To advance Nextu from an advanced prototype to a fully market-ready innovative product capable of processing biological and lifestyle data, delivering AI-generated health insights, and engaging users through gamification and behavioural coaching. Project activities: Development and refinement of the Nextu AI digital health twin, including enhancement of AI recommendation algorithms, expansion of wearable and biological data integration, real-world testing in clinical and wellness settings, and optimisation of user experience and engagement features. Target groups: Health-conscious consumers, corporate wellness programmes, and healthcare professionals seeking AI-supported personalised health management tools. Result: A fully functional, market-ready AI-driven digital health twin, capable of reacting to at least three key health indicators (activity levels, sleep patterns, and nutrition habits) and providing personalised AI-generated health insights and recommendations. Total project amount: 59,296.65 EUR, funded 100% from the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility (NextGenerationEU). Project duration: 2025 Oct – 2026 Apr
